If you're a vegetarian don’t worry because the
cuisine is largely
vegetarian in nature and deliciously spiced. Koshari and ful medames are just two of the popular dishes here. Along
the coastal regions such as Alexandria fish is commonly served.
For meat lovers, grilled minced lamb kebabs and shawarma are also delicious.
Aish- Aish is the Egyptian traditional bread similar to pita bread. It is made by mixing wheat flour, water and salt then baked.
Baba Ghanoush- made from grilled eggplant that then mashed and mixed with tahini, lemon juice, salt, pepper and dressed with olive oil.

Fatta- a garlic and white vinegar flavoured meat soup served with rice. Is usually prepared for weddings or woman's first pregnancy.
Strawberry Juice/Mango Juice:
Both served for wedding and are sweet and refreshing.
